I know not what “absolute freedom” is, but every time I pack my bags and step out, I come back with a much better attitude and a new outlook that makes my daily fight, if not a cakewalk, but smoother for sure. When I started travelling, the fickle me became more stable, and the tsunami of emotions saw a path and today these 11 woman have taken all the way to Khardung La in their TVS scooty
With newer perspective, the difference was great. The restless soul that I am, only travel could satiate my hunger, and it literally it did by giving me a chance to try anything and everything under the sun. It is life-changing, the relationship that you form with your surroundings, with the newly created perspective, as you get introduced to newer cultures and horizons. You come back nothing less than a new YOU.
The journey of these 11 young women on their TVS Scooty Zest 110 took me back down memory lane when I took to the same terrain on road with my girl gang. I have always felt that travel gave me that sense of Freedom, and it’s so empowering –believe me, it does in practicality as well.
Filled with madness and a zest for adventure, these 11 women made their way to the mighty Khardung La – one of the toughest motorable road, all on their TVS Scooty Zest 110, to win the world and show you that when you live only once, you need to live it to the fullest!
It’s a given fact that the “newness” of any experience always counts the most, and that’s what ones travel dreams are made of. These 10 riders were selected after rigorous rounds of elimination. They knew they were one step closer to their dreams and victory line and celebrating the thrill of adventure, they picked their favourite scooters of the TVS Scooty Zest 110.
Yes, this does sound a bit unrealistic, but if there is one thing travelling teaches you, it’s that nothing is impossible when you set your mind to it. With team leader Anam Hashim, who did the same region last year as part of the Himalayan High Season 1, there was no looking back for these riders on their Scooters. They met their fellow travelers as strangers and over time, the interest in the destination, and with the thought of adventure ahead on their mind, they forget their initial bond.
As these young enthusiasts explored new routes and made their way up the curves of rough roads, Himalayan Highs celebrated their awesomeness with some great videos. This epic ride let the riders discover their highs amidst Himalayas – the highs of Friendship, the highs of seeing never-seen-before colours, the highs of taking selfies at the highest point, the highs of anticipation just before D-day, and the ZEST of finally achieving the impossible!
Starting at Mandi they headed to the ever challenging Khardung La into the Nubra Valley, the roads were not kind but the scooter toughed all the dicey roads, rough weather, and all the coarse terrain to give them the experience of a lifetime. An entire concept of web series found its way back, and has been carefully recorded to create memories of their track.
Filmmaker Amit Mansukar also shares an interesting perspective to the videos from our everyday situations. Despite the roadblocks this robust journey saw 11 happy faces at the end. Despite the roadblocks this robust journey saw 11 happy faces at the end.
So don’t go by the looks, this scooter can kill it on any rough roads. It’s time to CELEBARTE THE HIGHS.
